This recipe is ideal with roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables or melted over grilled filet mignon.
⅛ cup finely grated fresh black truffles
1 cup salted butter
In a medium sauce pot, bring a small amount of water to a roiling boil then reduce to simmer. In a medium bowl, gently melt butter over pot of simmering water. Remove melted butter from heat then stir in black truffles. Mix well and place in small container. Cover and refrigerate. While cooling, stir occasionally to allow mixture to set evenly. Use immediately or cover dish and freeze for later use.
