Sorbet is the ultimate summer dessert. It can be made with
any seasonal fruit and is much easier to make than ice cream. For
an elegant presentation, serve in a long-stemmed wine glass or a
- 2 cups peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped
- ½ cup sugar
- 1½ cups water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water just to a boil to create
a simple syrup. Put in a container and chill in the refrigerator.
Place peaches and lemon juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add simple syrup to the blender and process for 1 additional minute.
