Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients:
2 cups macaroni, cooked
6 ounces Chef John Folse Au Gratin Sauce
1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing
bowl, combine cooked pasta and hot au gratin sauce. Place mixture in
a casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for
5-7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Seafood Au Gratin
Ingredients:
1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
1 tbsp butter
1/8 cup diced onions
1/8 cup diced celery
1 tsp minced garlic
1/8 cup diced bell pepper
1/8 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
2 cups Chef John Folse Au Gratin Sauce
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large
skillet, melt butter. Add onions, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Saute
3-5 minutes or until vegetables are wilted. Be careful not to brown
vegetables. Add hot au gratin sauce and green onions. Mix well. Gently
fold in crabmeat and place mixture in a casserole dish and top with
grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is
bubbly.
Other Au Gratin Sauce usage suggestions:
Top steamed vegetables (ie. cauliflower
and broccoli)
As a dip for your favorite chips or pretzels
As a topping for baked potatoes
